LSU Health Faculty, Staff and Student Generosity Provides 7,637 Meals

The 10th Annual Food and Fund Drive at LSU Health New Orleans was the most successful yet. The drive benefits Second Harvest Food Bank.

LSU Health New Orleans faculty, staff and students brought donations of non-perishable food items from October 28th through Friday, November 22nd. A dozen collection boxes were set up on both the downtown New Orleans and Dental School campuses. We collected 1,086 pounds of food and $1,570 in monetary donations. This year’s donations will provide 7,637 meals!
